The provincial government is being urged to come up with some cash to keep the Fort Frances kraft mill heated this winter.
Kenora-Rainy River M.P.P. Sarah Campbell says the facility risks real damage if the equipment inside isn’t kept warm.
She says all that is required from the government is 5 million dollars to make that happen.
Once again she repeated her claim that the failure of the mill will cost 1 thousand jobs.
Natural Resources Minister Bill Mauro says the government is looking at all options and hopes to have some announcement in the near future.
