Smoke Free Bylaw Has Arrived

Its a historic day for public health officials in Sunset Country.
The Township of Ear Falls is the first municipality in this region to go smoke-free.
The gold standard bylaw went into effect today (Tuesday), meaning smoking is not allowed in any enclosed space that has paid employees in it.
A bylaw enforcement officer will be issuing warnings until October third.
After that date, violators can face a maximum five thousand dollar fine.
