The Provincial Government and the Northwestern Health Unit will have
their day in a Toronto Divisional Court Monday.
The Attorney General wants the Court to toss out a ruling made
2-years ago that the Medical Officer of Health did not have the power to
implement a Regional smoking ban.
MOH Dr. Pete Sarsfield says they’ve been working with the Province to
prepare for this moment.

The hearing is only expected to last a day, however its unclear when
a ruling will be handed down.
