The Region’s Chief Medical Officer of Health will be in Toronto
Monday, as a Judicial Court will review the area smoking ban.
The Province ordered the review more than 2 years ago, and Dr. Pete
Sarsfield says the Attorney General is asking the Court to toss out a ruling
made by the Health Services Appeal and Review Board.

The hearing is expected to last for only 1 day, however Sarsfield
says it’s too early to tell when a ruling will come down.
