Election day was a busy day in Dryden as 500-voter kits were accepted.
Clerk Colleen Brosseau says the late surge pushed voter turnout to
about 40% with over 2,600 ballots cast.
Brosseau says the vote-by-mail system had its early struggles with
20% of the ballots spoiled but in the end everything went smoothly.
n047 runs: 18 sec. out…14 percent.
Brosseau adds the tabulators helped get results out in a more timely
fashion and notes staff have received a number of suggestions on how to make
voting more efficient and accessable.
