Sneak Peak at Budget Contains Bad News

A Northern Ontario Liberal MPP is warning local communities to not
expect anymore support for the forest industry in next week’s Provincial
budget.
Some Regional leaders believed a plan to assist with electricity costs
was on the way.
Thunder Bay-Atikokan MPP Bill Mauro says while the Premier did commit
to examining regional energy pricing, its still too early to expect any
relief in the upcoming budget.
Mauro says it could be sometime before we learn whether energy relief
will be added to the assistance package.
