Construction of Open Roads School in Dryden is coming along nicely.
The media was taken on a tour of the new $14-million facility Thursday and East Area Supervisor Rick Hill took the opportunity to point-out some of the highlights.
The school has controlled light censors, in-floor heating and is environmentally friendly.
Hill adds each classroom will be equipped with smart boards and each student will have access to a laptop to take advantage of the wireless network set up in the school.
The school also has spacious kindergarten rooms and a massive library with open lighting.
Hill says one feature he’s proud of is the Music and Art Rooms.
