Kinsman and Kinette members from across Northwestern Ontario and Manitoba have converged on Dryden for their Annual Convention.
National President Lee Burry is also in Town to thank members for their on-going support.
Burry says service clubs are the life-blood of small communities by creating opportunities for adults and youth.
He notes the Club is one of the only Service Organizations in Canada experiencing growth.
Burry has also announced the Club’s new National project, ‘Portraits of Honour’, a 50 by 50 portrait depiction of our Canadian soldiers who have died in Afghanistan.
Burry says they are raising funds for our military families.
