With the recent heavy snowfall in Northwestern Ontario,
the Ontario Provincial Police are offering advice to the
snowmobiling public.
Kenora Detachment Constable Dave Cain says anyone who
wants to operate a snowmachine on a trail, must be 12
years of age and hold a motorized snow vehicle operators
licence or drivers license.

The OPP are warning snowmobile enthusiasts area lakes
and ponds are not yet safe to drive on.
