Snowmobile Safety Tips

With the snowmobile season now well underway in northwestern Ontario, the Provincial Police are reminding drivers to be safe out there.
OPP say a good habit is to think about the rules of the road when you’re driving a snowmobile which of course means staying sober, driving at a safe speed and not tailing other machines.
They also suggest never riding alone as your cell phone might not get reception in certain areas which could be a big problem if you get lost or hurt and need to call for help.
You should also always let someone know about where you plan on going and how long you expect to be gone.
