The OPP are urging snowmobile enthusiasts to brush up on the rules of
the trail.
Anyone who wishes to operate a machine on a trail must be at least
12-years of age and hold a motorized snow vehicle operator’s card.
If you want to travel on the road, you must be at least 16-year-old
with a operators card or drivers license.
Constable Dave Cain says although we’ve seen colder temperatures and
plenty of snow, area lakes are not safe to ride on.
