Leaders of a Northern Ontario First Nation community say a short-term fix for its immediate problems is at hand, but a long-term solution is still needed.

He says five families living in tents should be able to move before Christmas, but chronic overcrowding, poor construction and poverty must still be dealt with in a meaningful way.
