Southern Ontario Man Caught with Loaded Gun

A Scarborough, Ontario man faces a long list of charges following a traffic stop on the Trans-Canada Highway.
Marathon OPP were conducting a RIDE check on Highway 17 and found that the driver of an eastbound vehicle was suspended due to unpaid fines.
Officers searched the vehicle and found a small amount of marijuana and a loaded 45 calibre semi-automatic pistol.
OPP arrested 28-year-old Vilfredo Martinez-Fontela.
The accused is in custody in Thunder Bay.
