It appears the departure of MP Bob Nault has sparked some movement within the Liberal ranks in the Kenora district.
2 unnamed people have expressed interest in running against Charles Fox for the nomination.
Staunch Liberals including former Dryden Mayor Roger Valley have been actively hitting the phones this week trying to recruit interested candidates.
Meantime, the Kenora-Rainy River Riding Liberal Association is trying to hammer down dates for their Foundation meeting, when the Kenora Riding Association comes into effect, as well as a nomination meeting.
Prime Minister Paul Martin is expected to call a spring election.
