Some Interest In Dryden Municipal Election

Finally some interest in the upcoming municipal election in Dryden.
Mayor Craig Nuttall has officially filed his papers for re-election.
Councillor Shayne MacKinnon has stated that he plans to run for Mayor, but has not yet submitted his paperwork.
Darryl Skinner is the first to run for Council.
Brian Collins has notified Council that he won’t seek re-election.
There are three people in the running right now for 2-positions on the Northwest Catholic District School Board.
Al Cesiunas, Robert Van Oort and Kathy Bryck have all filed their paperwork.
No one has come forward for a spot on the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board.
The deadline to file nomination papers is September 12th at 2 o’clock.
