Sophie Desserre

It is with great sadness that the family of Sophie Desserre announce her passing at the Dryden Regional Health Centre on Thursday, September 19, 2002, at the age of 84 years. Sophie is survived by her seven children Wilton Desserre of Ear Falls, Phyllis Kincaid, Gary Desserre, Alvena Desserre, Howard Desserre and Elwood Desserre all of Dryden, and Valbert Desserre of Edmonton, Alberta. 19 Grandchildren, and 29 Great-Grandchildren. Also surviving are her 4 sisters Betty Dillabaugh of Ottawa, Ethel Shrum of Stratton, Arvilla Desserre of Pinewood and Lovina Greer of Brooklin, Ontario. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 23rd, at 2 pm, in the First United Church with Mr. Renton Amell officiating. Interment will follow in the Dryden Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 22nd from 4 until 8 pm, in the Moffat Chapel.
