The Annual Dryden Conservation Course opens today with Grade 10 students from Dryden, Kenora and Southern Ontario participating.
Domtar is one of the major sponsors and Spokesperson Bonnie Skene says activities are taking place at Blue Lake, Aaron Park and Domtar’s harvesting operation.
Spokesperson Bonnie Skene says the outdoor and interactive course introduces students to forest management, natural resources, wildlife, resource management and soil.
The Ministry of Natural Resources, School Board and Ontario Forestry Association are other major sponsors.
