A hunting trip in the Atikokan area has ended up costing a Southern
Ontario man.
43-year-old John Lilakos of Carlisle has been fined $3,800
for using another person’s moose hunting licence, making a false statement
to an officer, having loaded firearms on an all-terrain vehicle, not
wearing a helmet and operating an ATV without insurance.
The man was stopped on Caribus Road, west of Atikokan on October 12th,
2005.
He has been banned from hunting for 3-years and must take a hunter
safety course.
