Special Homecoming For Eric Radford

Hometown hero Eric Radford is back in the Red Lake area.
The World champion figure skater will take part in a number of community events the next couple of days with partner Meagan Duhamel.
Jennifer Thurbide is the Coach of the Balmertown Figure Skating Club and says the champs are scheduled to arrive at the Red Lake Airport at 12:45 Thursday.
They will then head to the Cochenour Arena just after 5:00. There will be a Meet and Greet at 8:00.
Skaters from across the region will be taking part in a Skating Seminar with Radford and Duhamel Friday and Saturday.
The two will also take part in the sold out Skating Carnival Friday and Saturday night.
Thurbide says it’s an honour to have Radford and Duhamel in the community as you often don’t get the opportunity to have international stars work with individuals one-on-one.
She stresses Radford has always supported their club and the community.
Over 100-skaters are enrolled in the Balmertown Skating Club.
