Trillium Funding For Red Cross

Just one local group managed to secure a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation in its latest allocation.
The Red Cross Society has secured just over $68,000 in funding.
The money will be used to purchase and deploy small disaster response trailers in several communities to improve emergency response.
The trailers will be located in Dryden, Ear Falls, Pickle Lake, Kenora, Fort Frances, Marathon and Manitouwadge.
The Red Cross says the funding will help them respond quickly to disasters in remote locations.
