Special Needs #2

Special Need Students are being provided with additional

support through a new Keewatin Patricia District School

Board program.

The Life Skills Developmental Curriculum was started in

2006, and the board hopes to have it fully implemented by

next September.

Spokesperson Kathy McConnachie says they’ve asked for

input from their stakeholders.

The programs goal is to prepare students for independent

living and employability whenever possible.
