Special Weather Statement In Effect

Get ready! A Colorado Low is headed our way!

CKDR Meterologist Bill Laidlaw says the snow should start falling across the region around midnight and it will be at its heaviest from 6 until 10 Wednesday morning.

He says we could see 10-centimetres when all is said and done.

Laidlaw notes the Ignace-Atikokan area could even see some freezing drizzle and ice pellets.

Red Lake is expected to get the least amount of snow.

Roads are expected to be snow covered and slippery and drivers are urged to use caution.
