A Kenora woman who spit in the face of a police officer, then claimed
she had AIDS, is headed to jail for 21 days.
19 year old Ashley Noname was found guilty of assault in court earlier
this week.
Justice Donald Fraser told Noname her sentence for the Oct. 28 incident
would have been much harsher if not for the 59 days she had spent in
pretrial & pre-sentence custody.
