The Keewatin Patricia District School Board has set high
goals for it’s grade three and six students in 2006-2007
EQAO math scores.
The board released it’s curriculum implementation &
professional development plan on Tuesday.
Superintendent of Education Wendy Wiedenhoft says they
would like to see the gap between aboriginal and non
aboriginal students reduced.

The KPDSB would like to see 67-72% of grade 3 students
achieve at a 3 or 4 level of math.
The goal for grade 6 students is around 58-63% learning
at a level 3 or 4, and 67-72% of grade 9 students at a
level 3 or 4 in Academic math.
