Some of the top female hockey players from across Canada are in Winnipeg for the first Sport School Championship.
The tournament starts today and wraps up Sunday with the gold medal game at 1:30.
Dryden’s Sarah Carter is the Assistant Coach with St. Mary’s Academy and she says it’s going to be a great week of hockey.
She says they have 15-players and when they play tournaments, almost everyone has been scouted by either CIS or different skill levels in the states.
She says they have a promotion going on where any hockey player who is peewee level or under, can get in for free.
