Spring Bear Hunt Back in the News

The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters feels its time for the
McGuinty Government to admit there’s a problem with the dense bear
population.
Robert Pye says they’ve warned repeatedly of the hazards involved in
not having the hunt.
The OFAH believes reduced hunting of the species as resulted in more
aggressive adult male bears in the Region.
The OFAH is pointing to the serious events in the Sioux Lookout and
Ear Falls areas.
