The price of a standard postage stamp will cost you a
penny more starting on January 17th.
Brian Gerrigan is with Canada Post and says the revenue
from the new postal prices will be put to good use.

Gerrigan adds Canadian postage is really low compared to
other large countries.
Postage stamps will n ow cost 50 cents, meanwhile sending
a regular sized letter to the U-S, or a package weighing 30
grams or more within Canada will cost 85 cents.
