State Of Emergency In Greenstone

A state of emergency has been declared in Greenstone as 800 Union Gas customers in Longlac are without heat today.
The company’s regulating station failed most likely because of the severe cold weather.
Spokesperson Dave Sword says they’re working on fixing the problem but stresses it’s going to take a while before heat is restored.
Sword says crews are working to address the problem and is urging residents to help by clearing a path to their meters.
