Statistics Canada has created another report looking at Ontario’s young aboriginal population.
The latest study looks at Metis, First Nation and Innuit youth under the age of 6.
In 2006, 17 percent of off-reserve First Nations children were living in families with four or more children, compared to 8 percent of Non-Aboriginal children.
The Stats Canada report was designed to provide a picture of the early development of aboriginal children and the social and living conditions in which their growing up with.
