The Canadian Automobile Association is pleased the McGuinty Government is moving towards banning the use of hand-held cell phones while driving.
Spokesperson Korey Kennedy says CAA members have been raising safety concerns about the use of cell phones while driving for years.
Kennedy says a majority of its members believe distraction associated with cell phones is greater than with any other distraction on the roadway.
