The Town of Red Lake is looking to the future as Staff and Council have provided an update on their Recreation plan.
The strategy identifies areas of concern as well as a report card on current assets.
Mayor Phil Vinet says right now they are looking good.
Vinet says the Tennis courts and Skateboard park are both new and landscaping at Centennial Park is complete.
He adds the Town beaches are in amazing shape.
A number of items have been listed for future consideration including construction of a multi-use complex, a water theme and environmental park at Rahill Beach and new fencing for the Ball Park.
Vinet stresses moving forward with these items depends on funding partners.
Vinet adds replacing the nearly 50-year-old Cochenour Arena is in the cross-heirs but notes that project won’t move forward for a few more years.
