The Dryden Regional Health Centre is adding to its staff levels.
The Hospital is in the midst of hiring new workers for tele-medicine, information technology as well as a dedicated groundskeeper.
CEO Wade Petranik says they will also be hiring additional support staff for the physiotherapy department in a bid to reduce a current backlog.
The wait time for non-urgent treatment is 113-days and 12-days for urgent therapy.
Petranik says the Hospital currently has a $460,000 surplus and notes they still expect a balanced budget with the new hires.
