All is quiet on the forest fire front in Northwestern Ontario.
The Ministry of Natural Resources has seen 55-fires in the Kenora Region this season.
Spokesperson Debbie McLean says the wet weather and low fire hazard doesn’t mean people can leave fires unattended.
All of the fires reported in the region have been caused by people.
McLean notes carelessness can lead to large grass fires.
