Still Some Openings For Hockey Camp; Jason Tatarnic Added To Coaching Staff

There are still some openings for 9th Annual Dryden Hockey School.

The camp focuses on skills development, shooting, skating, checking, passing and scoring.

There are three spots available for the Rookie group (8 and Under) and there’s room in the Goalie and Pro camps for Boys and Girls.

The Intermediate and Senior groups are full.

The Hockey School runs August 20th to 24th at the Memorial Arena and you can sign up at the Pool and Fitness Centre.

Meantime, there is a big addition to this years school.

Jason Tatarnic has joined the coaching staff.

Lead instructor Randy Allen says Tatarnic brings a wealth of knowledge and skill development coaching at the Junior ‘A’ level across Canada.

He took the Woodstock Slammers to the 2011-2012 Royal Bank Cup and fell one game short of winning the national championship.

He also coached Team Atlantic during the World Under-17 Challenge.
