Time is running out to secure an Ice Candle for Dryden’s “Festival of Lights”.
Organizers are hoping to have final numbers in place by the end of the day Thursday.

David Raine says the fundraising initiative has been around since 2001 and notes this year there will be a different recipient.
Raine says they are looking at the Dryden Regional Health Centre, Dryden Food Bank, Princess Court and others, noting they have yet to make a final decision.
He notes they will pick one for this year and change it up in 2019.
Residents will gather at the Cemetery on Christmas Eve with their Ice Candles to remember lost loved ones.
