A Winnipeg angler has been ordered to pay $3,000 for possessing an overlimit of walleye.
Harold Bumstead was stopped on Highway 596, north of Kenora back in May.
Conservation officers found 22-walleye, 18-over the legal limit.
Officers also searched his cabin north of Kenora and found even more walleye.
Through investigation, officers determined that there were also walleye at Bumstead’s residence in Winnipeg.
