Stolen Items

Red Lake OPP say they have seized a variety of stolen items belonging to the MNR Fire Base and the Legion.
Officers seized food, equipment and Christmas decorations from a house and an apartment building in Red Lake.
Police are still investigating the legal ownership of several chainsaws and two portable stereos.
Some of the serial numbers were removed preventing officers from determining whether the items had ever been reported as stolen.
Police say 49-year-old Alvin Franczak of Red Lake has been charged with numerous offences and is scheduled to appear in court today.
