Maki Faces More Charges

A Fort Frances man is facing more charges in connection with an incident while he was in jail last summer.
29-year-old Doug Maki now faces six additional charges after a hostage-taking incident at the Fort Frances Jail last June.
Several inmates allegedly held corrections officers at bay for several hours.
Meantime, Maki will be sentenced today for second-degree murder in the death of teenager Melanie Sutton.
