The City of Dryden has no plans to rip up the interlock stone sidewalks and replace them with concrete.
Bob Ayers at Public Works says they will continue to do maintenance where the stones heave from the annual spring frost but no new ones will be installed.
Concrete is much less expensive but it would be even more costly to replace all the exisiting paving stone ones throughout the City.
