Hydro One is trying to restore power to customers across the region.
A total of 25 crews are in the area accessing the damage caused by
Thursday night’s storm.
10 crews are in the Dryden area trying to restore power to some
3,500 customers.
Spokesperson Kathlene Welsh says the lights should be back on in
Dryden by 11 Friday night but she warns some people in remote areas will still be in the dark until late Saturday.
Welsh says crews have been forced to deal with downed power lines,
broken poles and restricted access to roadways.
