$238,000 in Provincial funding has been shaved off the
Ontario Library Services North budget.
Thunder Bay’s office which caters to libraries across the Region has
closed.
National Representative of the Canadian Union of Public Employees
Charlotte Monardo says the remaining office in Sudbury can’t offer the
same services.
The Ontario Library Services Board looks after 135-libraries, 35 of
which serve First Nation communities.
