An Alberta Clipper, which brough high winds and snow to Northwestern Ontario overnight, has moved out of the region and is heading toward the Northeast and Southern Quebec.
Environment Canada Forecaster Peter Staples says the brunt of the storm was felt in the far north with most areas of Sunset Country only receiving about 2 to 6 centimetres of snow.
He adds high winds should diminish by later today.
