Strange Drug Bust on highway 17

An unidentified man appears in Sioux Lookout Court Monday morning facing a long list of charges after a traffic stop in Vermilion Bay Thursday afternoon.
Dryden OPP say they pulled over a vehicle & when the driver was unable to provide proper identification, he was detained while a search warrant was obtained.
Officers assisted by the K-9 Unit discovered 13 Kilos of what they believe was Cocaine estimated to be worth about $1 million! along with $119,000 in cash inside the vehicle.
The driver is charged with Obstructing Police, Possession for the purposes of trafficking along with Possession of counterfeit money, a prohibited weapon & property obtained by crime. Police say they are still not sure who the suspect is but he will remain in custody until Monday’s Court appearance.
