A planned strike by Canada Customs Officers has been postponed.
Union Spokesperson Erik Lupien says contract talks with the Federal Government have resumed.
As a measure of good faith, Lupien notes any job action, which was scheduled to take place today, has been suspended until October 12th.
If a strike did occur, only 30% of Customs Officers would be able to walk out since they are deemed an essential service.
