Striking Bombardier workers are rejecting the company’s latest and reported last contract offer.
About 80 per cent of members voted against the deal with the final vote coming in at 613 to 139.
Unifor Spokesperson Dominic Pasqualino accuses the head of the company of not bargaining in good faith.
Pasqualino says there are rumours that the head of the company is trying to work without the committee and it seems that he’s avoiding the committee.
Meanwhile, Bombardier has released a statement saying they’ll now shift their focus from fighting to get the Thunder Bay work force back to work, to ensuring that Bombardier’s customer contracts and commitments are fully met.
