Wet Weather Keeps Fire Hazard Low

Recent rain is keeping the fire hazard low to moderate across the region.
There are currently 9 active fires, all of which are being monitored and pose no problems.
The Ministry of Natural Resources continues to send personnel to help fight fire in the Northwest Territories and B.C.
In B.C. there are 214 personnel and in the Northwest Territories there are 66.
