Strong Start Lifts Ice Dogs To Another Win

The Dryden GM Ice Dogs scored four times in the opening period and didn’t look back in a big 8-2 win over the visiting Thief River Falls Norskies.

Jacen Bracko scored three times in the game, including two heart stopping, must see to believe goals.

One of them was short handed.

Eric Stout extended his goal streak to six games and now has 11 on the season.

Garrett Graham scored his first SIJHL goal, while Braedyn Aubin, Nic Noseworthy and Cory Dennis also added to the onslaught.

Kendra’s Ben Dennis was again solid in net, making 32-saves.

Dryden GM peppered 40-shots on two Norskies goalies.

The Ice Dogs remain three points behind first place Thunder Bay as the North Stars won in Fort Frances.

The Norskies and Ice Dogs go at it again Saturday at 7:30.
