After a disappointing four game road trip that generated one shootout win, the English River Miners rebounded with a 6-4 win over Thunder Bay Thursday night at the Cochenour Arena.
Coleton Johnson scored the winning goal early in the third period, while Spener Milne and Jordan Baranesky scored their first SIJHL goals.
Jared Janke remains red hot with a pair of markers, while Matt O’Neill also found the back of the net.
Westin Cardwell stopped 32-shots for the win.
The two teams are back at it Friday night at 7:30.
