Summer Forecast For Northwestern Ontario

There won’t be anything very memorable when it comes to Summer weather in northwestern Ontario this year.

The Weather Network is out with its Summer forecast.

Meteorologist Doug Gillham says we are looking at normal temperatures.

Gillham says June and early July will be warmer than usual.

However, he says we will likely see a few more shots at cooler temperatures in the second half of Summer.

In terms of precipitation, Gillham believes it will be a dry Summer across the region.

Gillham says drought conditions in the Prairies should make their way here.

Gillham believes when all is said and done, we will see below normal rainfall numbers by the end of August.
