A concrete plant at J.F. Cook Contracting in Sioux Lookout was destroyed by fire Sunday afternoon. The plant was located near the junction of highway 72 and the Hudson highway. The Sioux Lookout Fire Department was on the scene quickly, but the fire had already burned through the roof of the structure….
Ministry of Natural Resources crews concentrated on several hot spots in the bush. The fire was out within a couple of hours – no estimate of damage nor of the cause of the fire.
